Shanghai Children’s Medical Center
Shanghai Children's Medical Center (SCMC) is a renowned children's hospital affiliated with the School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and located next to the Renji Hospital in Shanghai. First designed in 1989 in partnership with the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and Project HOPE, the hospital was founded in 1998. In addition to its 500 beds, SCMC champions pediatric research and training in neonatal care and pediatric medical practice throughout China, including remote rural areas.
The Abbott Fund provides support to the Shanghai Children's Medical Center through its partner Project HOPE.
