COSI, central Ohio’s Center of Science and Industry, is the ultimate playground for the passionately curious. Ranked the number-one science center in the country by Parents magazine, the 320,000-square-foot facility brings science to life through more than 300 interactive experiences and specialized education programs that serve a continuum of ages from infants through teens and adults. COSI is also home to partner organizations that feature real science content, including the Ohio State University Labs in Life@COSI collaboration, which is the first of its kind in the nation. COSI reaches people statewide, through COSI On Wheels, and nationwide, via award-winning interactive videoconference programs. COSI’s community access initiatives provide families and schools with free or discounted access to COSI resources, building a bridge to COSI experiences for all.

The Abbott Fund provides support to COSI to advance two science-education programs: COSI Academy and COSI On Wheels: The Incredible Human Machine.
